There are several differences between the 2 different termite treatment methods. Most of the Differences are how the treatment works, and how the treatment is Installed/ Applied,

They Are though both Effective Treatment options.

The Difference between how the Product works

The Liquid Termiticide barrier works when the Termites pass through treatment barrier and then it will allow them to pass the product off to their fellow termites before it kills them. Acting as a domino effect with each termite affected.

The Treatment requires a full barrier treatment around the structure which means that if soil is present, we will make a trench around the foundation, if concreate, patio blocks, or Pavement, are within 12 inches of the foundation we will Drill holes to make
sure we get the product where it needs to be below soil grade to be effective.  As well as were needed drill into slab floors on the interior if necessary, depending on the type of foundation construction and termite activity at the location.

The Sentricon Always Active Termite Baiting System Works by being placed around the structure and as the Termites forage food sources they find the stations. The Product inside the Station is designed to be more appealing to the Termites than Cellulose material from wood.  As They feed on the Station, it will prevent them from going through their life cycle stages and eliminate the colony.   This will deal with the termites causing damage to a structure but can take up to 2 years to completely Stop Termite Swarmer Activity that can occur in the Spring and Fall.

Termite colonies typically are found in the soil, near your structure or under the Foundation of your home. They can be 6-20 feet below the ground soil level.
